seizure, And saith that the men belonging to the said Vessell
at the time of the seizure aforesaid were brought aboard the
said Tyger friggatt, where this deponent left them, and came
along in the said Prize Vessell into the River of Thames
under the Conduct of Jonas denny his precontest. And
further cannot depose/

To the second and third Interrogatories hee saith, the said
Vessell at the said time of her seizure was full laden with
ffrench apples laden at Tuckett and bound for deepe for
the accompt of ffrenchmen as the Master and Company of the
said Vessell confessed, and saith the said ladeing is in a
perishing condition, and that the said Vessell at the time of
her seizure had no Gunns Ordnance or Artillery aboard
her, nor any provisions save about 2. loaves of bread
a little beef and porke and Cider, And that the said Vessells
Company att the time of the said seizure spoke ffrench and
were and are all of them as hee beleeveth ffrenchmen and
Subjects of the ffrench king: And other wise cannot depose

To the 4th hee saith, That all the writings aboard the said
Vessell at the time of her seizure were taken brought aboard
and delivered to Captaine Sanders the Captaine of the said
Tiger friggat, and remaine, as this deponents beleeveth, in his
the said Captaines Custody And further cannot depose:/-

late master of the shipp the Mary Magdalene
of Galloway in Ireland, aged 30 yeares or
thereabouts sworne and examined.

To the first Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth that hee well
knew and was master of the said shipp the Mary Magdalen at
such time as shee was last at Nantes in ffrance, from whence
hee saith shee sett saile and departed in or about the moneth of
July in the yeare 1653 bound for Ostend, the port of her intended
dischardge
