Transcription

were consigned to Lionel Coram a merchant of Antwerpe a correspondent
of the foresayd Heires of Etton heard, for the Accompt aforesaud And
further he cannot depose./

To the third he saith he was not present att the signing of any of the bills
of lading for the sylver and moneyes arlate or any part thereof. And
otherwise referring himselfe to the Acts of this Court he cannot depose.

To the first he saith he was aboard the Sampson att the tyme of the seizure interrate
and came first aboard att Cadiz in October 1652 as a Passenger.

To the 2d. he saith he hath knowne the heyres of George Etton heard interrate for
about seven but by letters and correspondencyes onely and not otherwise. and
saith he hath knowne Peter Claesson interrate for about three yeares and saith
he was and is a barkeman of Cadiz and went aboard with this deponent with
the sylver and money predeposed and carryed the same aboard the Sampson
where this deponent saw him and elswhere att Cadiz in Company with this deponent
and Otto George interrate. and otherwise negatively.
