To the .13. and 14th. He saith that about the yeare 1650 the aforesayd Pedro Calvo
sent to this deponents precontest John de Losa Barona a quantity of English
manufactures of great value from Cadiz to Limma in the West Indies
for the Accompt of Paulus Cobrisse aforesayd, which the sayd John de Losa Barona
there sold for the same Accompt and carryed with him the proceed thereof
in one of the Galleons of the King of Spaine to Cadiz whither this Rendent came
along with hom, And saith that the sylver and money now claymed is part
of the proceed of the sayd English manufactures sold in the Indies as aforesayd
and the sayd sylver and moneyes were by the sayd John de Losa Barona
delivered to the aforesayd Pedro Calvo one of the factors who laded the same
att Cadiz, which sayd Pedro Calvo did acquaint this deponent he had
order from Paulus Cobrisse to send the same to fflanders to him and his
Accompt by the sayd shipp Saint George or some other shipp as he the sayd
Pedro should thinke fitt. And further he cannot depose.
