... and was present and saw a servant of Vincent del Campo
a merchant of Cadiz in the name of his sayd master deliver the sayd Chest
of sugar as a gift or present to the sayd Cloppenbergh. and saith he was
present when the sayd Christian Cloppenbergh and John Roopke upon the
stating and Justing of severall Accompts betwixt them att Cadiz did
agree that to cleare all Accompts the sayd moyety of the eight butts
of sack marked as aforesayd videlicet this marke W should be for the sole
Accompt of the sayd Christian Cloppenbergh. And saith that the sayd
bagg of moneyes was and is the proceed of fraight of the sayd shipp and
of goods sold by the sayd Christian Cloppenbergh att Cadiz. And further
he cannot depose.
