To the sixth and seventh he saith that the sayd sylver and Coochineale
was really and truly bought and laden for the accompt of the sayd
respective Claymers, and they alone were to runne the hazard and adventure
thereof being their owne goods as aforesayd. And saith that the sayd
Peter and Andrew Annakach and Joanna Vanden Berg[?ne] of the
certaine knowledge of this deponent for theis five yeares past and
upwards and by common repute for twenty yeares and upwards are borne and are Inhabitants of Antwerpe where they have
their howses and familyes, and saith they are fflandrians and by birth are
subiects of the King of Spaine and so accounted. And further saith that
the sayd ffrancisco da Cairodge is a native of Biskay in Spaine and
of the knowledge of this deponent hath for theis thirteene yeares now
past bene an Inhabitant of Vera Cruz in Nova Hispania in the West Indies
and is a subiect of the King of Spaine and so accounted, being one of
the Treasurers of and for the sayd King att Vera Cruz aforesayd. And
further he cannot depose.
