To the tenth he saith that verily beleiveth and is fully convinsed
his conscience that the sylver interrate and every[thing?] thereof belong[eth?] onely to the sayd
Lewis ffernandez Angell, and to noe other person or persons [nohat?] [s?]
And otherwise to this Interrogatorie he cannot depose.
To the eleventh he saith that the Lader of the sayd sylver being the
sayd Lewis ffernandez told this deponent when the sayd sylver wa[s]
laded aboard the Sampson, that he laded the same for his owne
proper Accompt and at his owne adventure. And further he cannot
depose.
To the twelfth he saith that he this Rendent is a Spaniard, and when att
home lives att Varinas aforesayd, and saith that he hath noe Interest at[t]
all in the barrs of sylver now Claymed by way of property, ensurance
or otherwise nor will it be any advantage or benefitt to the deponent
if the same be [restored?].
To the thirteenth fourteenth fifteenth and sixteenth Interre[?]he ca[nnot]
depose.
To the seventeeth he saith that he saw the aforesayd Pedro de Campo
signe two other bills of lading of the tenor of the bill interrate and
saw him deliver the same so signed to the aforesayd Lewis ffernan[dez]
Angell. And otherwise he cannot depose.
To the eighteeth he saith that the bill of ladeing Interrate and there{of?]
so knoweth to be one of the three bills signed as aforesayd, by the fi[?]
of the sayd Pedro de Campo, and by the markes in the margent
thereof, And further he cannot depose.
To the nyneteenth he saith that after the arrivall of this deponent att [?]
he saw the sayd bill of Lading now showne him in the hands of the
producent and by his [meanes?] he beleiveth it came int this [Coll?]
And otherwise he knoweth not to depose.
To the twentyeth he saith that the Interrate ffernandez came aboard [the]
Sampson from Cadize, and was aboard her att the tyme of the seiz[ure]
Interrate. And further he cannot depose.
To the one and twentyeth he saith that the sayd Pedro de Campo Purser of [the?]
Sampson delivered aboard the sayd shipp to the sayd Lewis ffernandez three bills of ladin[g]
of one tenor, and the sayd ffernandez as he taketh it delivered one of them back againe
to the sayd Purser at the same tyme aboard the sayd shipp, and the same [?]
[]ose and not inclosed in any cover as he remembreth. And otherwise he
cannot depose.
To the two and twentyeth he saith that he remembereth not the name of the
shipp wherein the sylver now claymed came from the Indies, but saith
it was one of the shipps of [the?] Spanish West India ffleat and the na[me]
of the Commander of the same as he remembreth was and is John Seri[t]
And further to this Interrogatorie he cannot depose.
To the three and twentyeth he saith that otherwise [than?] he hath [predeposed?]
he cannot call to mynd the tyme of the lading aboard of the sayd syl[ver]
and he knoweth not of any [?] of sylver or other goods delivered
of the sayd shipp after the sayd sylver was laden. And further he []
he cannot depose.
To the four and twentyeth he saith that he this deponent never saw [any?]
other bill of Lading of the sylver interrate since he caime to this [][]
