and in weight containing in the whole seven hundred eighty one markes
four ounces and a halfe, and for such lawfull Owner the sayd producent
is commonly accounted reputed and taken. And the Readon of this deponents
knowledge is because he this deponent being with the producent att
the West Indies saw him buy the sayd six barrs of sylver att
the Havana with the proceed of his owne goods and merchandizes
which he brought thither from La Vera Cruz, and there likewise videlicet
att the Havana aforesayd saw the sayd sylver weighed. And further
saith tht the sayd sylver was there ladeb a shippboard and transported
from the sayd Havana to Cadize arlate, the sayd Antonio da Ponte and this
deponent comeing along in the same shipp; and att Havana aforesayd
and in the passage to Cadize, and att Cadiz the sayd producent was in
quiet possession of the sayd sylver, which was imbarqued att the Havana
in the sayd month of May, and arrived att Cadiz about the latter end of [?July]
last past. And otherwise he cannot depose.
