To the 6. 7. 8. 9. and 10th Interrogatories This Rendent saith that the sayd Christian Cloppenberg
did make an entry of the sayd sylver with the marke thereof and the [?manXX]
of the consignataries agreeable to the foresayd bills of lading and saith he is
sure that the sayd sylver was laden by the same party that is named lader in the
sayd bills of lading, to say. William Cornelison aforesayd or [?Guliahua]
Corneliz, called in the paper of Interrogatories by mistake as he conceyveth of the
Character of the first letter of the Sirname William Pompeliz. and otherwise
referring himselfe to his foregoeing depositions, cannot depose saving
that he beleiveth that some bills of lading which were for sylver and
moneyes laden by this deponent in person wherein he made use of the feigned
name of John Baptesta [?Stenn] for lader which bills were colourable as
to the sayd feigned name and not otherwise, were found aboard the sayd shipp
the Salvador.

To the 11th, he saith he is fully convinced in Conscience that noe subiect of the
States Generall of the United Provinces or of the ffrench King had or hath
any manner of Interest whatsoever in the sayd sylver. and that the sayd shipp
and sayd sylver therein were really bound to Ostend. and further otherwise
than negatively to every part of this Interrogatory he cannot depose

To the .12. he saith the sayd Syom da ffonseca Pyna did not speake or write
to this Rendent touching the sayd sylver or lading thereof or of any other sylver att
Cadiz for his Accompt and otherwise cannot depose.

To the 13th. he saith the foresayd William Corneliz did acquaint this deponent that he
had order from the producent to send the sayd sylver to Ostend. and otherwise
he cannot depose

To the .14th. and 15th he saith he hath seene severall bills of exchange for the producents
use in the hands and possession of the sayd William Corneliz, but knoweth not of
any other effects. And otherwise cannot depose saving as aforesayd.

To the 16. he saith he was borne att dunkerke, and liveth for the most part
att Cadiz, and sometymes in the Indies as merchandizing occasions happen.
and saith he is noe way related to the producent nor hath any manner of
Interest in the sayd sylver: and further otherwise than negatively cannot
depose.

To the .17. he saith he was not present nor saw the buying of the sayd sylver
and otherwise or further cannot depose.

To the 18. he saith he cannot depose.

To the 19. he saith he cannot depose otherwise than as aforesayd.

To the 20th. he saith he is sure that the bill of lading now shewne him
is one of the foresayd Orginall Bills of lading by the marke firme
and contents thereof any by the handwriting of the sayd Cornelizon
wherewith the same is filled upp.

To the 21th he saith he canot depose otherwise than as aforesayd.

To the 22th he saith the sayd sylver was laden in the bay of Cadiz under the
power and Command of the fforts there. and otherwise cannot depose.

To the 23. he saith that att the tyme and place of firming the sayd bills
of lading as aforesayd he saw the sayd William Cornelison take and possesse
himselfe of two of the sayd bills loose, and Christian Cloppenberge take
and possesse himselfe of one of the sayd bills loose and without a Cover
and more particularly remembreth not nor can depose.

To the 24th. he saith It is prohibited to transport sylver and moneyes
out of Cadiz and other Ports of Spaine without license and somuch
is as he beleiveth generally knowne to such as frequent the Ports of Spaine
and otherwise cannot depose.

To the 25th he saith that unlicensed sylver if seized in port before it
be transported out of Spaine is confiscable to the Kings use. but if it escape
out of the ports of Spaine It is as free a merchandize to the Owners
thereof as any other goods whatsoever. And otherwise cannot depose
