Antonio Estevan da Balderas of Limma in
the West Indies borne att Madrid aged 39 yeares
or thereabouts a witnes sworne and examined
deposeth and saith as followeth. videlicet.

To the first and second and 3d and 4th articles of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that the arlate
Symon da ffonseca Pyna merchant of Madrid, (who was and is one of the
Assentistases of the King of Spayne and hath bene well knowne to this
deponent twenty yeares and upwards) in the monethes of August
September October November december January and february
1652 was and att the present is and ought to be the true and lawfull
Owner and Proprietor of one barr of sylver of 109 markes weight or thereabouts marked as in the margent
the premisses he knoweth to be true for that about the beginning of
the sayd moneth of August 1652 being att Cadiz in Spayne he there
saw the sayd barr of sylver in the howse and possession of William
Pornelir the sactor of the sayd producent which his factor then
and there told this deponent that the sayd sylver was the sylver
of the sayd Simon da ffonseca Pyna, as were likewise some other
parcells of sylver which this deponent then saw in his possession, which
