And saith that the
sayd Simon da ffonseca Pyna was and is a Spaniard a merchant
Inhabitant of Madrid an Assentista and subiect of the Kinge
of Spaine a trader betwixt Cadiz and fflanders for sylver
and other goods and hath his factors in those places for that trade
and for and as such was and is accounted and for such hath
bene knowne for theis 6 yeares to this deponent who for the reasons
aforesayd is as he saith well assured that the sayd Simon da
ffonseca Pyna att the tyme of lading the sayd plate aor barr
of sylver and before and continually since was and att the
present is and ought to be the true and lawfull Owner and
Proprietor of the sayd barr of sylver and so accounted and
otherwise he cannot depose.
