To the fifth article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that after the
lading of the sayd sylver and plate and more especiallt upon or about
the eighth day of October 1652. the sayd John Martinsdorp master
of the sayd shipp the Saint George did signe and firm in the presence
and sight of this deponent three bills of lading for the sayd plate
and sylver all of one tenor, one of which Bills of lading so signed
by the sayd Captaine or Master of the Saint George the sayd Pedro Calvo
gave to or left in the Custody of the sayd Captaine or Master John
Martinsdorp to carry along with him in the sayd shipp, and the other
two the sayd ffactor, who laded the same did keepe with him att Cadiz, and otherwise hee cannot depose.
