The Clayme of Nicholas Crombeene et cetera

Rp.

Thomas Swan aforesaid upon the Interrogatories examined/

To the first Interrogatory hee saith That hee was a passenger in the shipp the
Salvadore when the same was seised and taken as aforesaid, and came into her at
Cadiz in Spaine, and was att Sea about 28 dayes before shee was seised And
otherwise he cannot depose.

To the second hee saith hee knoweth not the Interrate Nicholas Crombeene but
hath heard hee was borne in fflanders and is a Subiect to the King of Spaine
And otherwise hee cannot depose./

To the third hee saith that hee was by and present when the aforesaid William
Crombeen bought the said 61 potaccoes of Tobaccoe which he saith was consigned to
the said Nicholas Crombeene according to the bill of lading aforesaid And saith that
he can show no other reason of his knowledge that the said Nicholas is accompted
the Owner of the said Tobacco Then that the bill of lading aforesaid doth mention that
the same is consigned [?XXX] to him And otherwise cannot depose./

To the 4th he saith That the Interrate William Crombeen came on board the shipp
the Salvadore when the Tobacco now Claymed was laden and did look after and
take care thereof for the Accompt only of his brother And not for any ffrenchman or
any of the dutch nation And further cannot depose./

To the 5th hee saith That hee saw the said 61 potaccoes of Tobaccoe in the house
of William Crombeen in Marachao, in his Custodie being thence shipped aboard the Nostra
Seniora da Rosario as aforesaid and brought to Cadiz where hee saith the said [?tobaccho]
was taken out of the said shipp and laden on board the Salvadore bound for Ostend
aforesaid And further hee cannot depose/

To the 6th hee saith That the said William Crombeen the [?Ledger] of the said [?William]
on board the said shipp the Salvadore, told this deponent that the same was [?unXXXXXX]
