The Clayme of the foresaid Rodergues et cetera}
for silver aboard the Salvador}

Domingo Padellas of Saint Lucar in Spayne Merchant
aged 29 yeares or thereabouts a witnesse sworne and examyned
in this cause deposeth as followeth
To the first article of the said allegation he sayeth and Deposeth that he hath knowne the
arlate Anthony Rodriguez fr theis tenne yeares last past dureing all which tyme he
hath made his ordinary residence and aboade with his wife and family att Cadiz
whereof he is commonly reputed an Inhabitant And sayeth That in or about the moneth
of October arlate There were laden on board the shipp the Salvador att Cadiz arlate
for the accompt and adventure of the producent Anthony Rodriguez fowerteene
Potacchoes of Varinas Tobaccho and about an hundred Hydes to be transported in the
said Shipp from thence to Oostend arlate which hee knoweth ffor that hee this deponent
was present and aboard a certaine ffrigott which came from the West Indies to Cadiz
afforesaid about September last and sawe the said Tobaccho and Hydes taken
out of the said ffrigott and carryed by this deponents ffather in Lawe aboard the Shipp
the Salvadore arlate And sayeth That after the said goods were soe Lade aboard the Salvadore afforesaid this deponent
went aboard the shipp Sampson wherein the producent Anthony Rodriguez
and he this deponent [?XXXX] and sett sayle ffrom Cadiz afforesaid in company of the
said Shipp the Salvadore both the said shipps beinge bound from Cadiz to Oostend
as is arlate And further cannot depose.
