officers at dover as aforesaid and were and are all true and reall, and hee
verily beleeveth that the goods really belonged to the same persons mentioned in the
said bills, and otherwise referring himselfe to the said bills, hee cannot depose.

To the 10 and 11th negatively, saying hee signed but one sett of bills of
lading for each parcell, namely three of one tenor, and hath not signed any
since his seizure.

Martin Thysen;; of Stralesund in Pomerland Mariner Stiersman
of the said shipp the Sampson aged 33 yeares or thereabouts sworneand examined.

To the first hee saith that hee being of Stralsesund and not serving in the
said shipp till July last that hee was hired to goe Stiersman of her from
hamburgh for this voyage doth not nowe her owners, but hath heard that they
are all hamburgers.

To the second hee cannot depose.

To the third hee saith that his precontest hanse heytman is master of the
said vessell. And otherwise hee cannot depose.

To the fourth hee cannot depose, saving the said shipp began her outward
voyage in July last and went from hamburgh, and came from Malaga
when shee was seized.

To the 5th hee saith that the said shipps lading consisted in wine and
raisins, all laden at Malaga by severall merchants and consigned to
hamburgh referring himselfe to the bills and papers taken aboard. And
