Transcription

To the 3d Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth that the interrogated Stbraut
J[?e]llis hath of this rendents knowledge bin Master of the said shipp theise
wto yeares and upwards and saith that as the said skipper hath told this deponent
the said ship was built at Horne in North Holland by and
at the costs and charges of the said Owners by whom the said ship
hath bin imployed and set forth ever since this deponent came into her
And otherwise hee cannot depose.

To the 4th Interrogatorie hee saith that there are other men in Stockholm[?e GUTTER]
besides the said Clarke and Bonnell who have share in the said ship
but [?there] names hee knoweth not. And saith that ever since this deponent came first into the said ship hee hath
knowne the said Clarke and Bonnell to reside and dwell in Stockholm[?e GUTTER]
which [?theire] [XXXX] familyes in which towne they are and have bin eminent officers and [XXXXXXXX GUTTER]
And otherwise hee cannot depose sayveing that hee knoweth not what country=
men by birth the said persons are.

To the 5th Interrogatorie hee saith that hee knoweth the box in which the
papers interrogated now are And saith hee knoweth it to bee the
Skippers box, but whether the said papers which are now in it and now
showed unto him were aboard the said ship when she was seized hee
knoweth not

To the 6th Interrogatorie hee saith that the said ship set saile from
Stockholme upon Munday next followeing the last Easter
day at which tyme and from which place shee had or carryed noe goods
in her And saith that the skipper from thence was prdered by the
said owneres to saile to Saint [?Ivess] there to take in his said loadinge
And otherwise hee cannot depose.

To the 7th Interrogatorie hee saith that he well knoweth the interrogated Peeter
Trass[?e] but saith the said Tr[?asse] did not lade any Armes Amunition
goods moneyes wares or merchandizes aboard the said ship in this her out=
wards voyage nor did the said ship carry any such or any thing at all
into Portugall save only her ballast And further hee cannot depose

To the 8th Interrogatorie hee saith that the said Trasse is factor for the said
Owners, Howbeit hee saith hee had noe hand in the manageing or
ordering of the said ships present voyage nor is hee ffreighter of the
said shippe And otherwise hee cannot depose

To the 9th hee saith hee cannot depose.

To the 10th Interrogatorie hee saith that the said salt was laden by a Portuguese
Factor for the accompt of the said owners but the name of the said
Portugese hee saith hee knoweth not.

To the 11th Interrogatorie hee saith that the said ship the Stockholme i sof the
burthen of two hundred lasts or thereabouts And otherwise hee
cannot depose

To the 12th Interrogatorie hee saith that the said ship arrived in Portugall
last about the latter end of June last past; and was att noe other port
but Saint Ives whilest shee was in Portugall

To the last Interrogatorie hee saith that the d[?ainish] ship which was with the
Stockholme as aforesaid did come from Saint Ives in
company together but from whence the two dutch ships came [?hence]
such hee knoweth not.
