Transcription
To the 8th Interrogatorie hee saith and deposeth that the [XXXX]
of the said ship predeposed was made as aforesaid by [?three]
Merchants [XX XX XXXX] this deponent was and had [XXXX] dutch
Sh[XXXXX] [?At] the [XXXXXX] and defence of the producent, but whether
the [XXXXted] Roger Kilvert did knowe any thing of an [?invoiceing'] the
summe hee for his part saith hee knoweth not, And otherwise
hee cannot depose
To the 9th Interrogatorie hee for his part answereth negatively [?in]
[XX] every part thereof./
To the 10th Interrogatorie hee saith hee cannot depose
To the 11th Interrogatorie hee saith hee was present at the Custome[?s]
house London upon the 8th day of January last past at which tyme [?and] place
[?the] said Mr Kilvert in this Rendents heareing did desire the said
producent to enter the said ship that hee might have his goods
to which the said producent replyed that hee would (if hee entred any)
enter all the ships whole ladeing without omission or [XXXXXX] [?part]
thereof [XXXXed] [?or so in effect] which the said Kilvert would not have him doe
but expressed his minde to the contrary and soe the entrance of the said
ship at that tyme was putt off And further hee cannot depose.
To the 12th hee saith hee cannot depose.
To the 13th hee saith hee cannot depose.
To the 14th Interrogatorie hee saith hee cannot depose.
To the 15th Interrogatorie hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing
deposition and otherwise hee cannot depose saveing that the
Interrogated Jacob Vanderlacke is the producents broker and [XXX]
[th{?is] [?doeth] his businesse for him in and about this Cittye And
further hee saith hee cannot depose.
To the last Interrogatorie hee saith hee cannot depose./
