Mathematicus aetatis 42. annorum aut eo circiter testis
in hac parte productus iuratus et examinatus, dicit
quod partes producen per 2 annos aut eo circiter nescit [?hed]
partes con quam products non novit./

Ad primum [?schedulum] et reltiquos arlos libelli in hac parte dat et oblat
dicit et deponit That about Michaelmas anno domini 1635 this deponent
beinge an accomptant was imployed by John Jobson then master of the arlate shipp the Blessinge
to make-up the accomptes
aswell of all such severall sommes of money as were oweinge by
the sayd shipp for Carpenters work, Brasiers and bricklayers worke in
makinge of fornace, and for sayles, pullyes topps blocks, cordage victuallinge
gunns and munition, Iron worke and other necessaryes to make her
fitt to goe to sea on her then intended voyage to New England
for which the sayd Jobson delivered him severall bills under the
parties hands to whome he sayd debts were oweinge, as alsoe of all
such somes of money as were oweinge or received for the fraighte of
goods or passengers which were to be transported in the sayd shipp
to Newe England, and the sayd accompts
beinge drawen up and perfected accordinge to the generall nots and instructions delivered and given to him it
did therebye appeare that the sayd shipp was then indebted the
somme of five hundred fiftye seaven pounds fifteene shillings
amnd nine pence of lawfull money of England over and above
the severall sommes of money received for the fraighte and
transportation of passengers and goods in the sayd outwards voyage or for
any other thinge for which the sayd shipp was creditor And this
he affirmeth uppon his oath to be true. Et alr nescit deponere
savinge he sayeth that neere about twelve monethes since the sayd Jobson
came to him agayne to drawe up another accompte of the debts
and creditts of the sayd shipp which second accompte beinge perfected
accordinge to the instructions delivered him by the sayd Jobson
it did appeare that her former debts were then still oweinge, and
that the sayd shipp was more indebted then she was when
the sayd former accompte was made up by him, over and above all
the fraight and profitt received for her service and imployment
since the makinge up of the sayd former accompte./

Ad septum arlum libelli ex parte dre Mabb in hac causa dat et admisa
dicit et deponit That he hath knowne the arlate Henry Mabb the
producent for these thirtye yeares last past or thereabouts, and that about nyne
or ten yeares since this deponent beinge at Bristll
sawe the said Mabb come in there, Master of a shipp of Bristoll, which had
bene there (as was reported) on a voyage to the Straights, and ever
since that tyme the said Mabb hath either taken commande as master or
gonne masters mate opf severall shipps, and once within the same tyme was
masters mate of one of his majestyes shipps, and is an able mariner and
well experienced in the arte of navigation, and is well respected, and
reported of amongst most masters of shipps with whome he hath gonne
