To the fifth he sayeth that the sayd John Reynolds or any of hos
company (to this deponents knowledge) did not change any of
their owne oranges or lemmons for others laden in the sayd shipp
for the accompte of the merchante, meither did consume imbezell
or make any away any of the merchants oranges or lemmons or other
goods And this he affirmed upon his oath to be true./

Thomas Irish of Wappinge in the Countye of Middlesex mariner
aged about 63 yeares sworne before the worshipfull William Sames
doctor of Lawes Surrogate to the righte worshipfull Sir Henry Marten
knighte Judge of his Majestyes high Court of the Admiraltye
sayeth and deposeth uppon his oath as followeth videlicet.

That in the last
voyage of the shipp the ffaulcyn of London (whereof this deponent
then was and still is master to the west Indyes, oneThomas Carpenter
was intrusted by mr Brant the merchant and owner of the sayd shipp
and goods, as this deponents interpreter to trade with the Indians
in the rivers of Mary[?wije] and Sesanam uppon the coast of Guiana,
And whilest the sayd shipp was at the Barbadoes the
sayd Carpenter had and received from Jeremy [?Lam] the sayd mr
Brants factor, one Case of stronge waters, for which the sayd Carpenter
promised
