ffrancis Sayon of the parish of Saint Mary Hill London merchant aged
about 45 yeares sworne and examined as aforesayd sayeth and deposeth
uppon his oath as followeth videlicet That in or about the moneth of August
Anno domini 1635 in the porte of Dunkirke (as he was advised by letters
from his factor John Martell of Dunkirke merchant) there were laden
abord the shipp the Seaflower of London (wherof Robert Addams was
master) two trusses of Lynnen cloath marked and numbred as in the
margent, each trusse contayninge fower score halfe peeces of white
Gentish cloath with a wrapp of browne cloath about it which
goods cost cleare abord the sayd shipp at Dunkirke six hundred fifty
three pounds ten shillings fflemish or therabouts within an angell more or lesse [?XXX]
accomptinge the Exchange at 33 s 3 d fflemish per pound sterling
amounted unto three hundred nynetye one pounds eighteene shillings sterling
or therabouts And this hee affirmeth uppon his oarth to be true
