To the 12th pretensed position these respondents
and every of them answereth that they re
ferre themselves to the charter party or contract
arlate and to theire precedent or former
Answers which they beleeeve to bee true and
they further beleeve that by reason of the
unstaunchnes and insufficiency of the said
shippe the Jonathan and Abigall the
voyadge arlate the said voyadge was much
retarded and these respondents or their
Agents were forced from time to time
and att severall ports and places dureing
the voyadge arlate to repaire caultke and
amend the said shippe and these rendents
and every of them doe further answer and beleeve
that in case the said shipp had bin tight
and sufficient the voyadge arlate the said
voyadge might and would have bin ended
and finished within the time limited in
charter party made for the said voyadge
And otherwise these respondents saveing their
former Answers doe not beleeve the said
pretensed position to bee true in any parte thereof

answer that saveing theire former answers
they doe not bleeve nor either of them
beleeveth the said pretensed position to bee
true in any parte thereof

answereth and beleeveth that the shippe

att the time arlate and is a shippe of
