Transcription
To the third and fourth hee answereth
and beleeveth that within the time
arlate the said Richard dawes did as
Master of the said shippe make severall voy
adges with the same aswell to severall
parts beyond the Seas as within this
nation of England in which voyadges
orr divers of them hee did make proffitt
and gaine by freight receaved for the
same as hee beleeveth but how many
voyadges hee made or what proffitt
was gained to each parte of the said
shippe this rendent knoweth not
the same being the fact of another
to which this Rendent was noe wayes
privy neither doeth hee conceive hee
is bound to make any answer to the
same in regard that before the goeing
out of the said shippe upon her last
voyadge the said Richard dawes
went with her from England videlicet
upon or about the second of March
1647 the said Richard dawes gave the
said [?MXXXX] [?Eve] and the rest of the parties
schedulate a full and perfect Account of
all voyadges made before that time with
the said shippe as hee beleeveth and
they did then or about that time sett
theire hands to the booke of the said
dawes kept for the Accounts of the
said shippe and fully acquitt him
to that time as hee beleeveth
To the 5th hee answereth and beleeveth
