  • Go into edit mode
  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

sinking in the Seas and that with
much hazard and difficulty these
Rendents beleeve the said shipp was
att length gott to Virginia where
these respondents goods were delivered
but much spoiled and damnified
by reason of the leakines and in
sufficiency of the said shipp ut
credunt and these Rendents beleeve
that after the said shipps Arrivall
att Virginia the said shipp by rea
son of her insufficiency and leaki=
nes was there put into the Carpen
ters possession to worke upon her
and make her tight and stronge
if it might bee where shee remai=
ned by the space of six weekes in
the Carpenters hands and afterwards
the Report of the said shipps insuffi
ciency being soe notorious noe man
would adventure in a longe space to
lade any goods on board her soe as
the said shipp was forced to stay and
abide at Virginia longer then other
waies shee needed to have donne in
case shee had bin tight and staunch
after such her repaireing there
by the space of Two monethes att
