Transcription

beleeveth that the arlate shipp the
Jonathan and Abigall the time arti
culate was and remained in Carlisle
Bay arlate

To the 4th pretensed position hee answereth
and beleeveth that after the death
of the arlate Robert Page and after
the arlate shipp the
Jonathan and Abigall had taken in
all her ladeing and was ready to
set saile from the Barbadoes towards
London and not before this Rendent
was put in and constituted by the
factors of the freightors to bee Master
of her and tooke upon him the care
charge and government of the said shipp
to saile and bring her home for
England and noe otherwise and for
the rest of the said position hee refer
reth himselfe to the Records of this
Courte which hee beleeveth to bee true
And otherwise hee doeth not beleeve
the said pretensed position to bee true in
any parte

To the 5th pretensed position hee answereth
and beleeveth that within the time
arlate the said shipp the Jonathan
and Abigall did departe and set saile
from Carlisle Bay in the Barbadoes
and safely arrived in this porte of
London and since the arrivall of the
said shipp the Jonathan and Abigall
