behinde by meanes whereof this rendent
beleeveth he is damnified in the summe of 50 li
legalis et cetera And otherwise he doth not beleeve the
said position to bee true in any parte.

To the fourth pretensed position this rendent
answereth that in case the said ffrancis Ashmore
had performed the Charterparty articulate in
stayeinge 40 workeinge dayes and tenn dayes of
demorage accordinge to the said Charterparty
there had been due to the freighters arlate the
arlate summe of 120 li legalis et cetera And otherwise
for his part he doth not beleeve the said position
to bee true in any parte thereof.

To the 5th position this rendent answereth and
beleeveth that the schedular arlate was and is
the true and originall Charterparty made for
the said voyage and was and is signed, and
sealed with the proper hand writeinge and seale
of this rendent and otherwise hee doth not
beleeve the said prestensed position to bee true in
any parte.

To the sixt pretensed position this rendent answereth
and beleeveth that he hath been desired by the
said owners or some of them to pay the arlate
summe of 120 li and alsoe a certeine summe
for port charges in parte whereof this rendent
hath paid the arlate summe of 22 li 10 s and ofr
iust and lawfull causes as this rendent beleeveth
doth detaine the residue of the said freight and
otherwise he doth not beleeve the said pretensed
position to bee true in any parte.

To the 7th pretensed position this rendent answereth that
hee doth not beleeve the same to bee true in
any parte thereof.

To the last he beleeveth the things by him beleived
and denieth the things by him denied.
