surprized by the said Captaine
Brandlinge and Company with a
Portsmouth ffrigatt one of the
shipps of this Commonwealth and
brought into the porte of Plimouth
before such time as shee was car
ried into Zealand or within the
Command of any porte fforte or
Castle or ffleete of shipps except
the said Regmorters man of warre as
aforesaid And otherwise for his parte
hee doeth not beleeve the said posi
tion to bee true in any parte thereof

To the second pretended position hee
answereth and referreth himselfe
to his former Answers and to the
lawe And otherwise for his parte hee
doeth not beleeve the said position
to bee true in any parte thereof

to the third pretensed position hee answe
reth and beleeveth that the said Cap
taine Regmorter haveing taken out
all the papers from the Saint Anthony
att such time as hee first seized
