This is a short, social letter, from Maximilian Dallison (alias Dalyson) to his uncle, Sir George Oxenden.  Maximilian was the eldest child and only son of Elizabeth Dallison, Sir George Oxenden's elder sister.  He was writing from his home, the Hamptons, West Peckham, a few miles from the city of Rochester.  The house had been leased to Maximilian and his widowed mother, Elizabeth, on Maximilian's marriage to Frances Stanley, the daughter of a Kent brewer and property investor, Thomas Stanley

This is a short, social letter, from Maximilian Dallison (alias Dalyson) to his uncle, Sir George Oxenden, dated March 30th, 1663, from his home at the Hamptons, West Kent.
