33. To the first Article of the said Allogation hee saith that in the moneths
34. of Aprill May June July august and September last past in the
35. yeare 1656. arlate, the arlate John Jefferies, Thomas Colclough
36. and Companie Merchants of this Citie of London were and at this
37. present ought to bee the true and lawfull Owners and Proprietors
38. of the shipp the Vappahannacke arlate, and of her tackel apparrell
39. and furniture, and for and as such they the said Jeffereys Colclough
40. and Companie were and are generally accompted reputed and taken
41. the premisses hee this deponent saith, hee well knoweth, for that hee was
42. for all the time predeposed and for seuerall moneths preceding the
43. same, and till the time of the seizure hereafter deduced, Master and
44. Commander of the said shipp, and was soe constituted appomted and
45. made by the said John Jeffereys Thomas Colclough and Companie
46. in the quality of the Lawfull Proprieto:rs thereof as aforesaid
47. Hee further saith, that the arlate Humphrey Beane and
48. Companie also Merchants of this Citie were the true and Lawfull
49. Own:ers of the arlate shipp the Sarah whereof Arthur Perkins was
50. Master, as this deponen:t hath receied from common and credible report
51. touching the said proprietie; And saith this deponen:t hath alsoe credibly
52. heard by and from the said Arthur Perkins that the arlate Robert
53. Lewellin alsoe Merchant of London had frieghted the said shipp
54. Sarah for or upon a voyage from London to Guinney and from thence
55. to Barbadoes and Virginia and from thence to London, in which voyage
56. the said shipp was surprized and seized as hereafter shall bee
57. deduced. And further to this Article hee cannot depose:
58. To the second Article hee saith; that in or about the moneth of
59. December, which was in the yeare 1655. the said John Jeffreys
