have suffered dammage to the value of fiftie or fortie pounds sterling which might
very well have been clearely gained to the said Owners by such a Voyage, if the said
shipp had nt bin retarded by the meanes aforesaid. And further hee cannot
depose./

To the 4th hee saith hee referreth himselfe to the Acts and proceedings of this Court
concerning the Cause in question. And further cannot depose:/

To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition s true./

To the Interrogatories:- [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatorie hee answereth and saith, That hee cometh to declare the
trueth of his knowledge as a Wittnesse in this Cause by the meanes and
procuremtnt of Robert Yaxley Master of the said shipp the Mary, and was aboard the
said shipp and masters mate thereof at the time of the dammage sustained as
aforesaid, which happened about 10. or 11. of the Clock in the forenoone, this deponent
together with the said Yaxley and his this deponents Contests and others being above
the deck of the said shipp Maary at the time aforesaid. And further cannot depose.
