To the first article of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth that hee<br />
well knoweth the producent Albert Lemmerman and hath soe donne<br />
for these seven yeeres last or thereabouts, and saith that for all that<br />
time arlate the said Albert hath bin and any others present [INSERT: xxx to her] the true<br />
and sole owner and proprietor of the said shipp and of her tackle and<br />
furniture and for such commonly accompted, which hee knoweth because hee<br />
this deponent was hired to serve in her upon this her last voyage from<br />
Amsterdam in the presence and at the charge of him the said Lemmerman<br />
who fitted and set her out at his owne cost, as sole owner of her.

of August and September last past the said shipp the ''Saint Jacob'' being<br />
then at Porto Porto in the dominions of the king of Portugall<br />
(out bound for Amsterdam) was there laden with two<br />
hundred sixtee and foure bales of sumack, five hundred and all<br />
Rolles of tobaccoe, five and twenty chests of sugar, eighteene<br />
Elephants teeth, five bales of linnens and foure cases of sweetmeates<br />
and some other goods and merchandizes to be transported from the<br />
