//made a contract and agreem:t w:th the said Com:ers for letting out to hire the said Shipp w:ch was reduced into writeing

//two made or mencconed to bee made betweene the said Com:ers of the Navy of the one part and the said John

//foure hundred forty foure tunnes on the behalfe of himselfe and the rest of the then Owners of the said shipp and the

//her to bee made and did agree that the said shipp w:th expedicon should bee completely rigged fitted and

//shipps imployed as men of warre in the service of the state and also victualled and manned for six mon

//Thames to such port or place as the States Generall or Commander in cheife of the ffleete should appoynt

//other acts as therein is expressed In consideracon whereof the said Captaine John Jefferson

//for the said Shipp that is to say two moneths pay in hand amountinge to eight hundred pounds by way of

//Sea pay and the remainder att the discharge of the said shipp or w:thin forty dayes after as in and by way of

//shipp was completely rigged fitted furnished victualled and manned at the charge of the Owners thereof

//fifty three for five moneths at one hundred forty pounds a moneth and the said John Jefferson in that tyme by himselfe
