Biographical synthesis
William Wheatley (alt. Wheatly) (b.ca.1628; d.poss.1682, though this may be his son). Grocer.
Resident in 1658 in parish of St Bride Fleet Street.
J.R. Woodhead (1966) has the following entry for William Wheatley, grocer, though this may be the son of the High Court of Admiralty deponent:

Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
William Wheatley, a thirty year old Grocer of the parish of Saint Brides London, deposed on April 2nd 1658.[2] He was examined on interrogatories submitted in the case of "Saunders and others owners of the Isaack against the Saint Jacob and John Claeson Master of her."[3]
Isaack Tillard, a merchant of Plymouth, was the correspondent of the Saint Brides London grocer William Wheatley.[4]
