had before the time of the lading of the patatons predeposed had severell
goods and effects in his hands belonging to the producent which hee had [?XXXXXXX]
in the shipps of John de Vos and ffoppe Wesselle being sent by by(sic)
the said producent out from Ostend in the months of ffebruary and
March, 1652. besides the remeander of other goods formely sent
all the said goods being fflemmish stuffes linnen and lace. And
otherwise cannot depose.

To the 15th. hee referreth to his foregoing deposition.

To the 16. hee saith he is an Antwerper borne and liveth there
And otherwise negatively.

To the 17th. hee referreth himselfe to his foregoing deposition. And
otherwise cannot depose.

To the 18: hee saith hee knoweth not of, nor beliveth any insurance at
all is made upon the monies now Claymed or any part thereof

To the 19. and 20th. hee referreth himselfe to his forgouing deposition
And otherwise cannot depose.

To the 21th. hee saith the bill of lading by him predeposed was
sent by the producent by the ordinary packet boat and post from fflanders
to London to Mr Rishoulet and Companie his Correspondents
here. And otherwise cannot depose.

To the 22. and 23th. he saith hee cannot depose.

To the 24. and 25th. hee saith, That in regard hee hath never
been in Spaine, nor knoweth the Lawes or Constitutions of
that Kingdome, hee cannot otherwise depose then by report as to
the demands of theise Interrogatires, saving that he hath for sevrall
yeares last past observed, That Constant returnes of great
quantities of silver and moneys have beene received by
Merchants at Antwerp from Cadiz and other parts of
Spaine without any interruption at all.
