cut the Exeter Merchants hawser loose from his sayd Cable after the
same had continued fastned there to allmost an howers space, and by
that meanes turned the Exeter Merchant and her sayd ladeing on drift
to the great hazard and danger thereof, which the sayd Woodfin being aboard
the ffrancis and mary perceiving, leaped from on board her, and came on board
his shipp the Exeteer Merchant, and the better to prevent all danger
that might ensue by her being cut loose, did cause an Anchor to bee
dropped, and vered the Cable, and used all other diligence hee could to prevent
