I am sorry it was my sonns[1] misfortune (through his owne neglect) to loose his voyadge, & y:e waighting on yo:rselfe & these Hon:ble psonadges (sic) in yo:r way to y:e Indies, w:ch hee hath since endeavoured with much Contrition & promises of a future & better Care & dilligence to satisfie these hono:ble personahes, y:e Commissioners & his kinde masters, who with w:t hee hath offered to them, & Cheifely through yo:r Noble Sister[2] & my much hono:d Kindswoman earnest sollicitations is againe recvd into theire favour, & by them imployed & recomended to you to bee imployed as they shall have need & hee prove Capable off, soo as I cann nooways doubt of yoour Care & afections for him; whom I have ever found, to have A more speciall affection for him than Ordinary, w:ch hee & I are ever bound to acknowledge; as for y:e great & high Imploym:tt you have often occasions to use psons in , I doo not desire it, nor expect it, it is more fitt for those y:t have spent Longer tyme, & experyence in them, then for and y:t comes ever ?raw, & must be Cheafly guided for yo:r a & Counsell; & if hee cann make but a younger Brothers substistance, (haveing had all now done for him y:t his freinds or I cann doo dureing my life) he must bee Contented, &soo lXXXXning him to y:e protection of y:e Allmighty, & his owne endeavours, w:ch shall XXXXX my Continuous prayers; I rest
