Yo:r Welcome lre of y:e 14: present rcvd belowe y:e Riversmouth I beleeve you Imagine w:th w:t Joy it was rcvd I have many Things to write & speake to you, but I must keave y:t till a farther Opportunity w:ch I suddenly wish for, ffor to give you á full acco:t of o:r voyadge I have not tyme, but in pte wee departed y:e Downes y:e 11: Aprill y:e Affrican despeeded y:e 6:th Ditto; wee arrived at Johannes y:e 19:th August but noo newes of y:e affricans arrivall theire or at Mohilia, I must informe y:t hee was designed to touch at John DeNova called ?Called by some, but by y:e Ould name Christophers, wheare his shipp was Cast a way, his not arrivall heere, makes mee wonder I must referr y:e rest to tyme, & Better

Intelligence I was in good hopes to have gott over this tyde, But had not opportunity soo am a feard it will nee 2: or 3: dayes before have an opportunity to gett over, in respect of y:e Tydes falling out soo late, & soo earely, & our shipp Drawing soo much watter. I shall endeavour all wayes possible, to gett her in, y:t you may bee assured off; S:r I have many lres, Tokens, & severall things for you, & to advise you w:th I Omitt, I send up y:e Purser w:th y:e Compa:a Pacquett. Onely I must tell you I have 1000:ll in Gould for you w:th [XXXX] y:e [XXXXX]. But of y:t an other tyme of w:t you write in yo:r lre lett mee soo Bould to tell you , y:t if S:r Geo: had not beene in India, India should not have seene mee, therefore shall referr all to you, as to a pson w:ch I dare trust with all y:t I have; a little indisposednesse (sic) of health makes mee bee y:e Creditor & to requ:t y:t favour of you, y:t you would send mee M:r Ward as soone as possible. I had fforgott to tell you y:t yo:r Mother. Brother, & Sister (my Ownely) w:th S:r Geo: Smith, D. Pennington, w:th all yo:r freinds, are well, & desire to bee Remembred to you; S:r to those y:t are w:th you my kinde respects.
