Intelligence  I was in good hopes to have gott over this tyde, But had not opportunity soo am a feard it will nee 2: or 3: dayes before have an opportunity to gett over, in respect of y:e Tydes falling out soo late, & soo earely, & our shipp Drawing soo much watter. I shall endeavour all wayes possible, to gett her in, y:t you may bee assured off; S:r I have many lres, Tokens, & severall things for you, & to advise you w:th I Omitt, I send up y:e Purser w:th y:e Compa:a Pacquett. Onely I must tell you I have 1000:ll in Gould for you w:th [XXXX] y:e [XXXXX].  But of y:t an other tyme of w:t you write in yo:r lre lett mee soo Bould to tell you , y:t if S:r Geo: had not beene in India, India should not have seene mee, therefore shall referr all to you, as to a pson w:ch I dare trust with all y:t I have; a little indisposednesse (sic) of health makes mee bee y:e Creditor  & to requ:t y:t favour of you, y:t you would send mee M:r Ward  as soone as possible.  I had fforgott to tell you y:t yo:r Mother.
