In London y:e 25:th March 1663.

Invited by yo:e kind Invitation when you were last at my M:t [abbreviation for Master] S:r W:m Riders, I have beene bold to consigne to yo:r Wor:p by y:e Loyall Merch:t Cap:t Nicho:s Millett, á Small Box, I am ashamed to say how little, but it is as far as my pres:t cash will [xxx] being indntid p [could be “up”]. It is not worth y:e diversion of y:e thoughts from yo:r more weightie negotiations, but if you please to Hono:r mee so farr as to give order for y:e disbursing of it in some comodity y:t may safely turne to Acco:t & retourne it by y:e same conveyance or other wise as you shall deeme meete; (for I leave it to yo:r Worp:s discretion w:thout limitation) I shall hold my selfe Infinitely Oblidged to you Good S:r pardon my presumption & if have offended, the least chock shall forever make mee your penetentiary, but if other wayes I shall bee proud of y:e hono:r & allways seeke opytunity to approve my selfe.
