  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

Ad 6 deponit that hee hath heard that the said Southoin did buy a plantation
in Virginia in his owne name and for his owne account, which hee soe
heard whilst the shipp was in Virginia. And saith that this deponent is
well assured and beleeveth in his Conscience, that the said Southin did only
counterfeit and pretend his madnesse and saith that after hee had bbin
chidd by the Gouvernor at Rapahanock hee came some short time after
aboard very well in his senses., and was very discreet in his actions, and
calling the company together desired them to forget what was past, and
to mind their busines and to live in love together during the
terme of the voyage. Hee referrs himselfe to the Exhibits arlate. Et
alr nescit.
