at Cadiz in the yeare 1642. arlate, hee cannot depose any thig to the

neither doeth hee in his Conscience beleeve that the said shipp the Saint George
either in whole or in part did ever belong to Amsterdam or any other
port or place of the United Netherlands, nor that any of her
Owners did or doe belong to or are subjects of the States of the said
United Provinces, And further hee cannot depose./

To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true./

To the Interrogatories./ [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first hee saith, That hee this examinate is a hamburger borne
and bredd, and hath alwaies had his fixed place of aboad there, and saith
hee hath no part or interest in the shipp the Saint George interrate, nor hath any manner
of relation in blood to the Owners interrate, but is brother in law to
the interrate John Martens dorpe, and hath served the said Owners in keeping
the said shipp for about 19. moneths last past And formerly served in some voyages in the same And further cannot depose./:-

To the second hee saith, That hee this rendent is a mariner by professiion
and saith hee hath been severall times at Amsterdam within the time interrate
and was the last time there about 2. yeares since comeing then a passenger
out of Barbarie and staid there but one day, and saith that about 7. yeares
last past, as this deponent remembreth, hee sawe the shipp the Saint George at
Amsterdam. And otherwise saving his foregoeing depositions hee cannot depose./

To the third Interrogatorie, hee saith the shippwright who built the shipp Saint George
interrate was named Joachim Moller a Citizen and subject of the
free state of hamburgh, but hath forgotten the names of places of Nativitie of
such servants as assisted him in the building thereof, And otherwise
negatively./

To the 4th hee saith, hee hath never knowne or heard any thing as to the
