To the Interrogatories:-/ [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first hee saith hee knoweth not where the Vessell interrate was
originally built, and saith as this deponent hath credibly heard the said Peter
Ceely became Proprietor of her, buying her of the Prize Officer at [?Truro]
and saith, That after the buying thereof the said Peter Ceely sent over
seamen expressely from Saint Ives to Truro to rigg her and bring her about to
Saint Ives, and since hath upon severall Voiages sett her out from thence
upon his and his said Co-partners accompt upon this deponents observation
And further saving his foregoeing deposition negatively And otherwise cannot
depose/

To the second hee saith, the said Peter Ceely and Alexander Penhellick
were and are Cornishmen, the first inhabitant of Saint Ives, and the
other in and of the Towne of holsten in Cornewall, and have both of
them beein in actuall service of this Commonwealth, and are notoriously
observed to be well affected to the gvernment thereof; and are each of
them half shares of the said Vessell./

To the third hee saith, That the said Vessell had no gunns aboard her [?at GUTTER]
or in the Voiage interrate, nor was this deponent in or aboard her at
the seizure interrate, and saith shee had one deck, but cannot remember
or particularize the rigging shee then had And further cannot depose

To the 4th hee saith, hee last saw the Vessell interrate at Saint Ives
in Cornwall, And saith so farr as this deponent observed shee had
rather diminished then encreased her rigging and appurtenances in the Voiage and by the
seizure in question. And further cannot depose/

To the first article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth, That
hee well knoweth the shipp or Vessell the Charity articulate as
having bin and served in her severall Voiages under the Conduct of the
arlate Robert harrigate her Master who together with the arlate Richard
Rice James Cole, and Garret Strakey Miles Barnes and others all
inhabitants in and of Newcastle, save the said Richard Rice who
lives neere London, were and are commonly reported and knowne
at Newcastle aforesaid to be the true and lawfull Owners and Proprietors
of the said shipp and of her tackle apparrell and furniture, which hee
