Transcription

To the 1. 2. 3. 4.. and 5th. Interrogatoryes he saith he knoweth not the Owners of
the sayd shipp the Rye Blossom nor to what Port she did or doth belong,
being hyred into her three moneths agoe att Callis and having knowne
her noe longer tyme. And saith, her present lading of salt
was taken in on board her att Bronage in ffrance from whence
she last came, and was bound to havre de Grace in ffrance
thence to deliver the same to the use and accompt (as he hath
heard) of the merchands of the Grand party in ffrance. As for
the lader of the sayd salt or party to whom consigned or quantity thereof
or price or writings touching the same he knoweth nothing
thereof nor of any of them. And further cannot depose.

To the 6 and 7th he saith the saud shipp hath six gunnes five or six
musketts, with some powder and ammunition, three Cables three
anchors one suit of sayles and some double with other furniture
and provisions.

To the 8. 9. and 10th. he saith he is one of the Common mariners of
the sayd shipp and hath belonged to her three monethes and came
first on board att Callis. and further saving as aforesayd cannot
depose.

To the .11. 12. 13. and 14th he saith he knoweth nothing thereof.

Robert du Moulin of Callis in ffrance Mariner
one of the Company of the sayd shipp the Rye
Blossome aged twenty two yeares or thereabouts
a witnes sworne and examined saith and deposeth
as followeth videlicet.

To the 1. 2. 3. 4. and fifth Interrogatories he saith he hath knowne the sayd
shipp the Rye Blossome for theis three monethes now last past and
first saw her and was hired to sayle in her and came aboard her att
Callis in ffrance, the Owners of the sayd vessell or to what Port
she did or doth belong he saith he knoweth not. But saith that
she last came from Bronage in ffrance where she tooke in
her present lading being salt and no other goods to be from
thence transported to haver de grace in ffrance where she was
to have made her discharge to and for the use and accompt
of the ffrench merchants of the Grand party subiects of the
kinge of ffrance. And otherwise he cannot depose not knowing
the party that did lade the sayd salt nor upon what termes and
conditions the same was laden.

To the 6. and 7th. he saith the sayd shipp hath six peices of SArtillery
about six musketts with some powder and other munition, three
Cables, four Anchors, a sute of sayles with other furniture
and provisions.

To the 8th. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. and 14th. he cannot depose otherwise than as aforesayd.
