Examined upon Interrogatories ministred on the<br />
behalfe of the said Richard North, saith and<br />
deposeth by vertue of his oath:/:
To the first Interrogatories hee saith that hee hath well knowne?th (sic)<br />
the said Richard North for about seaven yeeres last, who<br />
hee saith was Gunners mate of the said ship the ''ffrederick'' att<br />
the time of her seizure by some of the ships in the service<br />
of the Dutch East India Company of holland, which<br />
seizure was soe made about ffifteene moneths since<br />
The Premisses hee deposeth, goeing from hence in the<br />
said ship ''ffrederick'', and Continueing aboard her till<br />
the time of her said seizure and further deposeth not.
To the second hee saith that at the said time of seizure<br />
the said ship ''ffrederick'' by the said Dutch ships, the said<br />
Richard North had on board the said ship ''ffredericlk'' for<br />
his owne account and adventure two Parcell and a half<br />
of White Pepper each Parcell containing 132 lb worth here in England about Eighteene<br />
Pence per pound: About Eighteene Hundred of Ca?mes [OR, ?Ga?mes], worth<br />
here in England thirty shillings a hundred: A hogshead<br />
of Rack, well worth in England 2: ''li'' sterling about two hundred<br />
weight of tamezin, worth here in England 3: ''li'' per hundred<br />
And the said respective goods would as hee verily beleeveth<br />
have yeilded the foresaid Prices. here, had they safely arrived<br />
All which aforesaid goods came to the hands of the said sei?zors<br />
The Premisses hee deposeth, being very familliarly acquainted<br />
with the said North; and was with him when hee<br />
bought the said goods at Bantam, and helped him to<br />
Lade them on board the said ship: And further Cannot depose
