of the said shipp the ''Dolphin'' aged 43 yeares or thereabouts<br />
sworne as aforesaid, saith and deposeth as<br />
followeth videlicet./
To the first and second Interrogatories hee saith and deposeth that<br />
Michael Adriansson and ffrancis Hendrickson of Dunquirke subiects of<br />
the Kinge of Spaine and merchants Inhabiting in Dunquirke, were<br />
and are the owners of the said shipp the ''Dolphin'' and of her tackle<br />
and furniture, and as owners fitted and sett out the said shipp and<br />
constituted this deponent master thereof; And saith that the said<br />
shipp about Michaelmas last was by fowle weather stranded without<br />
the haven of Dunquirke, and being there wrecked the skipper thereof<br />
a Holander exposed the same (being a shipp of fflisland) to publique sale<br />
as shee lay wrecked, and this deponents foresaid owners bought<br />
her of him, and about a fortnight after the said buying they brought<br />
her into the said haven of Dunquirke and constituted this deponent<br />
master of her, and fitted and furnished her for that voyage in question<br />
but this deponent did not see the money paid for her, nor was<br />
a witnesse to the bill of sale. And saith that the said ffrancis<br />
Hendrickson hath bin an Inhabitant and married man and houskeeper<br />
in Dunquirke for theise 20 yeares last past and upwards of this<br />
deponents ight and knowledge, but for the said Michael Adrianson<br />
this deponent hath often heard of his name as an Inhabitant there<br />
for severall yeares past, but hath not knowne him above a yeare<br />
last, And otherwise hee cannot depose, saving this<br />
deponent the master<br />
of the said shipp was borne at Gannt in fflanders, and hath lived<br />
in Dunquirke about 24 yeares last and bin a maried man there<br />
about 18 yeares last, and that the rest of his company are all<br />
fflemings saving one who is a Genoese, and most of them are<br />
dwelling in Dunquirke, and some of them have wives and families<br />
there.
