Comon and usuall prices and rates for the said materialls<br />
and further cannot depose ./:
To the 3d hee Referreth himselfe to the Registry of this<br />
Court :/.
To the 4th hee saith that hee verily Beleeveth that the<br />
said Daniel Adkins by reason of the non payment of<br />
the said Summe of 54 pounds for the said materialls and the<br />
not taking of the said Cable off the said Adkins his<br />
hands. hath suffered losse and dammage to the value<br />
of Twenty pounds or thereabouts,/.
To the 5th hee cannot depose. saving the said Engle<br />
ffrith hath of this Deponents Knowledge for three yeeres last sailed from<br />
hence to Norway and other places and from thence to this port again
To the 6th hee referreth himselfe to the Lawe ./.
To the last hee saith his foregoing deposition is true
To the Interrogatories:/. [CENTRE HEADING]
To the first hee saith the said Adkins maried this<br />
Deponents Neice, and the said Adkins requested this Deponent<br />
to come and testify the truth of his Knowledge<br />
herein, and saith that hee was not present at the bargaine<br />
made betweene the said Engle, ffrith and the<br />
said Adkins, but heard him and the said Greeke confesse as<br />
aforesaid. And further cannot Answer ./:
To the second he saith hee hath heard that the<br />
said Adkins caused the said ship the ''Orange''<br />
''Tree'' to be arested about Nine weekes since, and saith<br />
hee never was (to his remembrance) on board the said ship<br />
nor did see the Goods in Question delivered onboard her<br />
And further or otherwise saving his foregoeing deposition to which hee referreth<br />
hee cannot Answer /:
