To the eleventh article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that about the<br />
beginning f December last past 1653. he this deponent then<br />
expecting the sayd shippe the ''ffortune'' from Nantes did give order<br />
to the arlate Peter Lams of Dunkerke to whom this deponents<br />
sayd goods were consigned, that he the sayd Lams should write and<br />
send a letter or letters unto the arlate Vincent dela Vbarr and Thomas<br />
de Lavall to Dover Correspondents of the sayd Lams, and therein to<br />
advise them that the sayd shipp ''ffortune'' under conduct of the sayd<br />
Sem Jacobson Pronck was expected from Nantes or Pembeauf<br />
with wynes consigned to Dunkerke, and to desire them in case the sayd<br />
shipp should in her passage touch att Dover to procure a Convoy<br />
to conduct the sayd shippe and wines safe to Dunkerke, and the sayd<br />
Peter Lams did soone after certify this deponent that he had<br />
written to his sayd Correspondents to the effect aforesayd according<br />
to this Rendents desire and order.
