the ''Young Boar'' with tackle and furniture, for the summe or value<br />
of 700 Gilders Hollands money, which sayd summe of 700 Gilders<br />
this deponent did really and truly pay unto the sayd John Ebeeson<br />
for the sayd 16th part of the foresayd shipp and tackle and furniture for<br />
and on the behalfe of the producent Antonio de Cuys and the sayd John Ebeeson did<br />
receyve the same. And moreover saith that att or about the same tyme<br />
This deponent by expresse order and direction of the arlate John Pass[?XX]<br />
and for his use and with his moneyes did buy of the sayd John Ebeeson<br />
one other 16th part of the sayd shipp the ''Young Boer'' and her tackle<br />
and furniture for 700 guilders more, which sayd 700 guilders this<br />
deponent payd to him the sayd Ebeeson for the sayd 16th part of the sayd<br />
ship tackle and furniture on the behalfe o the sayd John Passnam<br />
and the sayd Ebeeson receyved the same of him this deponent. And<br />
otherwise he cannot depose.
To the second article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that in the<br />
sayd moneth of Aprill sand in May and June 1651. and continually<br />
since the buyeing of the sayd severall sixteenth parts of the saud<br />
shipp the ''young Boer'' her tackle and furniture as aforesayd by the sayd<br />
Antonio de Cuyper and John Passauant, He the sayd Antonio de<br />
Cuyper was and is and so ought to be the lawfull Owner and<br />
Proprietor of one .16.th part of the sayd shipp and her tackle and<br />
furniture and for such was and is commonly accounted and reputed<br />
And the sayd John Passuant for all the tyme aforesayd was and is<br />
and ought to be the lawfull Owner and Proprietor of one other<br />
16th part of the sayd shipp tackle and furniture and for and as<br />
suc was and is commonly accounted reputed and taken. the premisses<br />
he knoweth having bene master of the sayd shipp for and dureing<br />
all the sayd tyme, and for the reasons aforesayd and otherwise<br />
cannot depose.
To the third article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith and deposeth that the<br />
sayd Antonio de Cuyper and John Passuant for and in all the<br />
voyages made with the sayd shipp since the sayd moneth of April 1651<br />
have contributed according to their sayd respective shares in the sayd<br />
shipp for and towards the setting her out to sea, And he this deponent<br />
from tyme to tyme during all the sayd tyme hath payd and accompted<br />
and is to accompt and pay unto them the sayd Antonio de Cuyper and<br />
John Passuant the proffitts of the sayd shipp according to their severall<br />
and respective shares therein, as the sayd proffitts have from tyme<br />
to tyme arisen and shall from tyme to tyme arise, so long as they<br />
continue their sayd respective Interests therein. And otherwise cannot depose.
To the fourth article of the sayd allegation This deponent saith that in the sayd<br />
monethes of April May and June 1651. and att the tyme and tyme<br />
of buying the sayd severall sixteenth parts of the sayd shipp as<br />
aforesayd and for eleven yeares next before of this deponents<br />
certayneore of this deponents<br />
