least the Ice might have cutt the Cable<br />

shoare but with the Tide or a flowing<br />
and high water as hee beleeveth which<br />
was betweene or about the houres of<br />
Tenne eleaven and Twelve in the fore<br />
noone and one of the Clocke in the<br />
afternoone of the said day as hee bee=<br />
leeveth and the said shipp was not<br />
nor could bee new moored till about<br />
one of the Clock in the afternoone of<br />
the said ninth of January and for<br />
that the Custome house was shutt and<br />
the time past as hee beleeveth soe that<br />
hee could not enter his said shippe<br />
that day and there was a necessity of<br />
his being onboard his said shippe<br />
