1. Upon the third day of August 1657.
2. appeared personally John de vas of the parish
3. of Saint Buttolphs Algate London marriner, aged
4. two, and fiftie yeares, or thereabouts, and made
5. oath upon the holy Evangelist that he the said
6. John de vas was, and is, master of a certene shippe
7. called the Golden ffox of London, and that by the
8. particular and expresse order and authoritie of
9. Gaspar ván Cullen, Jernonimo ván Cullen
10. and ˹John˺ Tilley merchants (who was the
11. true, and sole owners of the said shippe) dXXXXX
12. unto, and given unto him for sale of the said
13. shippe, her tackle, apparrell, and furniture, he
14. hath by bill of sale signed, and sealed by him the
15. said John de vas, and by him delivered as his
16. act and deed, and duely executed (which bill
17. of sale beares date the thirtith day of July
18. 1657) for and in consideration of the sume of

20. hundred pounds of good, and lawfull money
