Transcription

To the 11th hee saith saveing his foregoeing deposition hee cannot answere/

To the 12th hee saith hee being none of the Company of the Owners Adventure
nor Greyhound nor soe much as seeing the master hee lost their Company
at Sea as aforesayd untill hee sawe them in the River of Thames cannot
answeer anything to this Interrogaorie/

To the 13th for the reasins aforesaid hee cannot answere/

To the 14th hee saith hee hath knowne the Interrogate damerell for those
eight yeares last past, and knoweth that in that tyme hee hath gone severall
voyages to Greeneland and is in this deponents Judgment
an able sea man and experienced in the Greeneland fishing and soe
commonly Accompted/

To 15th hee saith it concerneth him not to answere thereto for that hee
hath not deposed to the contents of the article Interrogate/

To the 16th hee saith hee experimentally knoweth that the Ice at
Greeneland will be sometymes cloased and a while after in some
measure open againe, and those that goe thither must watch such oportunities
of the opening thereof./

To the last hee saith hee knoweth the Ice in some places was (after
the tyme Interrogate) better to passe through to harbour than it was then
or before, And further for the reasons aforesayd hee cannot answere/
