2. To the fourteenth hee saith that after and upon the comming of the
3. said shipp the Cesar from Petras to Argostoll, the said ffudge in this
4. deponents presence and hearing acknowledged the providing of the said
5. currans for the account of the said Williams and company and that hee had
6. them aboard the said shipp and said hee would deliver them to mr
7. Williams and company, ˹they sparinge him freight for the same˺, and otherwise hee cannot depose.
8. To the fifteenth he referreth himselfe to his foregoing deposition and otherwise hee
9. cannot depose, not being at Petras the said voyage.
10. Upon the other articles hee is not examined by direction of the producent.
11. To the InterrogatoriesCENTRE HEADING
12. To the first hee saith that hee being as aforesaid a part owner and
13. freighter, hath and h ought to have a part and ˹or˺ share in the currans in
14. question; and that it will be a losse to him if the same shall not be adiudged
15. to the said Williams and company, and otherwise negatively saving his
16. foregoing deposition to which hee referreth himselfe.
17. To the 2 and 3 hee saith hee well knoweth the interrogated Clement Harby, and
18. otherwise hee cannot depose, for that this deponent was not present either
19. at the buying or lading of the currans in question of any of them.
20. To the 4 negatively for his part and otherwise hee cannot depose.
21. To the 5th hee hath not soe deposed.
22. To the 6th hee h saith that hee sawe the telling the money and delivering
23. of the money aforedeposed out of the Elizabeth and Anne into the boate
24. to be carried aboard the Cesar, and saw the going of the boate therewith
25. aboard the Cesar, but was not present at the signing of the bill of lading,
26. by ffudge, who X would not signe it till the money was come aboard his
27. shipp; and otherwise hee cannot answer, saving as aforsaid, and saving that
28. after the comming of the said shipp to Argostoll this deponent read the said
29. bill both what is printed and what is thereunder in written hand to this
30. said ffudge before his the said ffudges company aboard his the said ffudges
31. shipp the Cesar
32. To the 7th hee saith that the interrogated William ffowke at Zant told the
33. said Hardwick and this deponent that hee had all the Currans in the
34. Morea were his, and therefore disuaded them from going thither, and
35. otherwise hee cannot depose.
36. To the 8th hee cannot answer.
37. To the 9th hee cannot answer.
38. To the 10th hee saith that at Nathalago this deponent heard of the death
39. of the arlate Consull fowke. and otherwise hee cannot depose.
40. To the 11th hee cannot answer, not kn remembering the precise time of this
41. said ffowkes death. and otherwise hee cannot answer saving the said ffowke
42. was commonly accompted Consull and the said arlate Thomas Oliver
43. (his servant or) ˹(XXX)˺ was Consull ˹XX˺ of the English at the Morea. and saving hee well remembereth
44. that some of the currans brought home in the Elizabeth and Anne, were
45. laden aboard her at Nathalago before the said ffowkes death.
46. To the 12th hee saith the said ffudge was in Nathalago roade at the time
47. of make the contract predeposed, and was privy and consouting thereto
48. and otherwise hee cannot answere saving as aforesaid.
